Privacy policy
This website is run by Parveen Nair. It collects very little, and this page says plainly what it does collect and what happens to it.
The contact form
If you write through the contact form, it collects your name, your email address, the reason you selected, and the text of your message. That information is sent to Parveen’s private email inbox and is used for one purpose: to reply to you.
It is not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not sold or shared with anyone else. Messages are kept in the inbox for as long as they are useful for correspondence and are deleted on request.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Analytics records your IP address, your browser, your operating system and general device type, roughly where in the world you are, the pages you visit and how long you stay, and the site or link that sent you here.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. So yes, this site uses cookies. It does not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and nothing here tries to identify you personally. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and the site will work exactly the same.
Google Search Console is also connected. It reports on search terms and performance in aggregate and does not identify individual visitors.
Links to other places
Links to Patreon, Instagram, YouTube and Yoga Sadhana lead to services run by other organisations, each with its own privacy policy. Once you follow a link, what happens there is covered by their terms, not this page.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy of it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
These rights are honoured for everyone who asks, wherever they live. To use them, send a message through the contact form and say what you would like done. Requests are answered within thirty days.
Jurisdiction
This website and the personal data it handles are governed by the laws of India, where Parveen Nair is based, alongside the GDPR rights described above for visitors in Europe.
