Embodied Yogaby Parveen Nair

300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

The advanced training, for teachers who have completed a 200-hour and want to go further into philosophy, subtler breath practice and refined methodology.

This builds on a completed 200-hour rather than repeating it. The philosophy goes further, into the Yoga Sutras leading towards non-dual meditation, and the anatomy and methodology both deepen.

It suits intermediate and advanced practitioners of any age who want to teach with more precision and more understanding of why a practice is sequenced the way it is.

The curriculum

Teaching methodology
Hatha and vinyasa styles, creative sequencing, asana modification, and reading the mechanics of a body in front of you.
Adjustment and ethics
Hands-on and hands-off adjustment, and the ethical questions that come with touching a student at all.
Functional anatomy and kinesiology
The myofascial sling method, and around fifty asana studied by category.
The Embodied Yoga method
The method itself, studied as a system rather than a set of shapes.
Pranayama and subtle practice
Brahmari, ujjayi, viloma, nadi shodhana, kapalabhati and bhastrika, with the bandhas, mudras and yoga nidra.
Philosophy and non-duality
The Yoga Sutras leading towards non-dual meditation, applied philosophy, Vedic philosophy and devotional hymns.
